Art Karlsruhe ends successfully for Stella Polaris* Ulloriarsuaq and Filser&Gräf

we are pleased to announce the sale of the lovely work NUUNU -The One to be born by Nomi Baumgartl and Sven Nieder. It will enhance the collection of a major German coorporation.

Even though it looks like taken on another planet, the iridescent green light is of the Aurora Borealis.

„You can even see the Pleiades star constellation on the right. In the foreground is an ice sculpture shaped like a hatched egg. This picture is dedicated to Laali who was light ambassador for this scene and her unborn child. She was eight months pregnant with Sven’s child during this expedition. Sven assisted me to capture this image because the conditions made it very hard to handle the technical details. This is the only image of which can be said we really took it together.“ Nomi
